Adecco is partnering with a local client, to recruit a dedicated Operations Manager, in Swanton, VT. This is a direct-hire position offering an exciting opportunity to lead the establishment and optimization of production processes in a newly developed facility. The Operations Manager will work closely with the General Manager to create a highly efficient, fully integrated operation while maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the General Manager to oversee the installation and commissioning of production equipment.Develop a deep understanding of production workflows and facility layout.Participate in an intensive training program, requiring travel to Canada and France during the initial months.Partner with HR to design competitive compensation structures and pay grids.Assist in hiring and training employees for specialized roles identified in collaboration with senior management.Ensure production output aligns with demand and quality expectations.Develop technical and product knowledge, including understanding the functionality of production equipment.Create and manage the annual production budget to achieve key objectives.Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, including preventive maintenance programs.Manage contracts and relationships with external contractors to ensure seamless operations.Qualifications:Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on team collaboration.Technical aptitude and the ability to learn and manage production equipment.Familiarity with GMP and operational best practices.Willingness to travel internationally during the onboarding and training period.Experience with hiring, training, and developing workforce strategies.Strong budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling expertise.Proven ability to implement and optimize new production processes.Click Apply Now to be considered for the Operations Manager position in Swanton, VT.For this particular assignment, must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
