Additional Responsibilities include:
- Maintain and analyze key metrics; improve performance measures through use and interpretation of continuous improvement tools.
- Continuously develop and maintain high standards of product handling quality to ensure customer and Company quality and efficiency standards are met.
- Direct and coordinate various programs essential to operational procedures (training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, quality, associate involvement, security, etc.) to supervisors and associates.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field or equivalent work experience is required
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a distribution center environment managing a significant segment of the distribution center is required.
- Lean/Six Sigma basic certification preferred.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WSM) is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in making sound business decisions that successfully drive business initiatives.
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations is required.
