OPERATIONS MANAGER (0.2 FTE)Basic Functions and Scope of Responsibilities:As part-time operations manager, responsibilities include assisting the project director and PI to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program, including strategic planning, oversight of project database, collaboration with key stakeholders in admissions, financial aid, and grants management, and collaboration with the project director and PI to ensure smooth execution of program activities.Principal Responsibilities:● Respond to directives of the PI and Project Director and deploy resources accordingly.● Ensure data security and privacy compliance in accordance with relevant regulations.● Oversee the collection of training data to evaluate the effectiveness of professional development.● Identify organizational needs and oversee staff's development of project resources & materials.● Work with the PI and Project Director to ensure that all work of the Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program is in alignment with project deliverables● Oversee project functions including recruitment of students, onboarding/staff training, and facilitating performance evaluation processes.● Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.● Implement and improve administrative processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.● Provide logistical support for events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.● Support staff in leveraging technology tools for enhanced productivity and collaboration.● Analyze operational challenges and opportunities, proposing solutions and improvements.Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:● Expertise in operations management, preferably in a non-profit or mission-driven organization.● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database management systems.● Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.Education Requirements:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional experience in administrative/operations management (Master's degree preferred)Working Conditions: This is a remote position, with occasional travel to various locations throughout Long Island required.Materials and Equipment: Computer, copier, scanner, wireless access, phone and fax.LIU is an equal opportunity employer.
