We are looking to hire an Operations Manager to join our Construction Health & Safety Division in managing numerous occupational health clinics on construction sites in the Central Mountain West and Pacific regions This is a full time position working Monday Friday With some evening and weekend hours as needed Candidate needs to reside in the Central Mountain West or Pacific time zones This position provides overall operational and administrative direction for several onsite clinics as assigned The Operations Manager is responsible for managing local and corporate client relationships The position involves supervision and leadership within a team environment of all full time part time and contract clinic staff at multiple clinic sites This position monitors budgets and partners with leadership to control expenses effectively The Operations Manager is an operations management team member and reports to the Director of Operations This position supports the protocol based mission of the clinics and contributes to the overall strategy of the Division and our Clients Significant ability to travel up to 75 is required across the United States Candidates must live near a major metropolitan airport A typical day in the life of an Operations Manager Responsible for managing local and corporate client relationships includingDeveloping a professional and personal relationship that engenders trust and respectPromoting Medcor Incs ethics and valuesUnderstanding the organizational environment of the clinicsResponsible for the management and leadership of staff at clinic sites includingSupervision of staff which involves direct and indirect responsibilities for interviewing selection training motivating wage and salary administration documented & timely feedback performance appraisal developing goals and developing procedures to ensure achievement of goalsAssisting with problem solving at sites and the proper use of electronic medical records by staffResponsible for budget management at assigned clinics includingMaximizing revenue generation; controlling expensesMaximizing cash flow and volume and managing site budget setting processMonitors performance and acts to ensure financial targets and objectives are metAssures accurate monthly financial billing and contract rate compliance in such billingsAccountable for assuring standard operating procedures are in place and utilized in clinics in addition to growth in clinic volumes and servicesDevelops relationships with client executives supervising physicians and other local health care providers as neededWorks closely with Medcor corporate office to share information and improve the quality of our clinic services and solve problems in the fieldResponsible for sites includingCoordination with corporate training needs local client relationsCoordination with Medcor and client IT staff for computer requirements and needsCoordination with Medcor HR for staffing needsCoordination with Medcor accounting to confirm accounting proceduresInsure medical and office supplies are in placeSupport training via Medcor training department and other development of staff as neededInstitutes and participates in regular staff meetings and operations management team meetingsWork effectively and relates well with others including supervisors colleagues and individuals inside and outside the companyYou Must You have 2 4 years of practical experience in a health care environment or employee health services with managementsupervisory experience as part of that backgroundHave a Bachelors Degree or relevant work experienceHave working knowledge of workers compensation and occupational health and wellnessBe able to understand question and speak to variances associated with budgets and monthly financialsBe able to multi task be prepared prioritize follow through pay attention to details and think critically dailyBe able to quickly establish credibility and respect with associates and client managementBe able to effectively manage day to day operationsHave solid operational skills; ability to recognize workflow problems and redesign new processesworkflow and create buy in from all customers on changeBe available and willing to travel up to 75 of the time to visit client sites and clinicsHave strong personal computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office productsHave strong ethics and unwavering integrityYou have an EMT LPN or RN license Its a plus if Previous hand on medical experience on construction sitesBenefits We dont just advocate for our clients and our patients;
