Job Summary

An entertainment company is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all aspects of the company as well as oversee the implementation of operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a seamless workflow. This vital position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the CEO and the President of Operations in daily tasks.
  • Oversee and manage the company's day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures and ensure operational activities remain on time and within budget.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance the company's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Clerical and administrative tasks, including drafting emails, invoices, booking agreements, and reports.
  • Work with clients, venues, and vendors to coordinate planning and logistical details of upcoming events.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements (flight, hotel, etc.).
  • Work alongside the production team to coordinate concert logistics.
  • Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
  • May be called upon to create engaging documents and/or graphics for marketing collateral (if needed).

  • Being proficient in Creative Cloud applications or other creative software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of live music and the performing arts is a plus.
  • Required Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Schedule

    • Travel out of state will be required about two to three weekends per month for approximately 9 months out of the year.
    • Two days off each week (Mondays and Tuesdays on traveling weeks; Saturdays and Sundays on non-traveling weeks).
  • Salary and Benefits

    • $50,000 - $60,000 - commensurate on experience
