Operations Manager
Job Summary
An entertainment company is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all aspects of the company as well as oversee the implementation of operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a seamless workflow. This vital position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Supports the CEO and the President of Operations in daily tasks.
- Oversee and manage the company's day-to-day operations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures and ensure operational activities remain on time and within budget.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance the company's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Clerical and administrative tasks, including drafting emails, invoices, booking agreements, and reports.
- Work with clients, venues, and vendors to coordinate planning and logistical details of upcoming events.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements (flight, hotel, etc.).
- Work alongside the production team to coordinate concert logistics.
- Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
- May be called upon to create engaging documents and/or graphics for marketing collateral (if needed).

- Knowledge of live music and the performing arts is a plus.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
Schedule
- Travel out of state will be required about two to three weekends per month for approximately 9 months out of the year.
- Two days off each week (Mondays and Tuesdays on traveling weeks; Saturdays and Sundays on non-traveling weeks).
Salary and Benefits
- $50,000 - $60,000 - commensurate on experience
