Job: Retail Strategy & Planning Manager
Location: Onsite in Plano, TX
Must be bilingual Korean/English reading and writing
Role & Responsibilities
You will be supporting Retail Strategy team in strategy and strategic framework development for various retail projects. You will be responsible for project planning including milestone management; and risk and issue management.
Reports to the Sr. Manager, Retail Strategy & Planning, based at our Plano, TX office.
Position Objective
• Be the strategic partner/thinker for key retail projects in developing a strategy, goals, KPIs, and execution plan
• Interpret various internal & external data to extract key insights to identify new opportunities and to build the strategy
• Establish frameworks and standards for Program and Project Management
• Ensure the successful implementation of strategy, objectives, targets, and deliverables
• Manage and/or compile project related KPIs and data
• Preparing C-level strategy slides in a succinct and visual manner
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in corporate, product strategy role
• Proven ability to successfully bring products to market and providing strategic guidance and operational oversight
• Ability to communicate effectively and craft compelling narratives to influence business and tactical stakeholders across all levels of the organization
• Strategic & data-driven thinker and visual storyteller
• Strong powerpoint skill required to narrate strategy to the leadership
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, including ability to operate in ambiguity and establishing frame works that apply to emerging business problems
• Strong organization and execution skills, including ability to operate independently and drive strategic initiatives from ideation to end results
• Experience with top retailer or consumer electronics strongly preferred
• Well demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking skills; ability to organize and prioritize tasks based on critical impact assessment
• Will need to be results oriented, seek empowerment, inquisitive, and possess versatile communication styles
• Ability to influence, lead, motivate and direct the activities cross functional resources and support groups to attain objectives, establish project schedules and execute within specified timeline
• Ability to adopt to constantly evolving market conditions and business requirements
