Operations Manager - Synerfac : Job Details

Production Management:* Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met.* Monitor and optimize workflows, equipment performance, and labor allocation.Quality Assurance:* Ensure all products meet company quality standards and food safety regulations.* Work closely with the Quality team to address and resolve quality issues promptly.* Drive adherence to HACCP, GMPs, and SQF/FDA guidelines.Cost Control & Efficiency:* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve targets.* Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels for raw materials and finished goods.Team Leadership:* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of floor supervisors and production staff.* Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.* Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions.Safety & Compliance:* Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.* Oversee sanitation and equipment maintenance to maintain a safe and clean work environment.Continuous Improvement:* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.* Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence.Job Requirements* Bachelor s degree in Operations Management, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.* 5-10 years of operations management experience in food manufacturing, preferably in sauces, condiments, or similar products.* Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulations, SQF preferred. * Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.* Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.* Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.* Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent is a plus.
