The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our engineering business, including but not limited to production, quality assurance, and logistics. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Engineering industry, with a deep understanding of ERP systems, OSHA regulations, and LEAN manufacturing principles. Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.2. Planning, scheduling, and reviewing workload to ensure production output and on-time delivery targets are achieved cost-effectively.3. Implementing and driving continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices.4. Ensuring all operations comply with OSHA regulations and other industry-specific standards.5. Implementing ERP systems to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency.6. Managing and executing lean manufacturing initiatives and other customer satisfaction initiatives.7. Collaborating with other department leads to create strategic plans for business growth and operational improvement.8. Monitoring and adjusting production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.9. Preparing and submitting reports on production and operational metrics to the senior management team.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations management role within the Engineering industry.3. Proven experience with ERP systems, OSHA regulations, and LEAN manufacturing.4. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.5. Strong knowledge of industry-specific equipment and operations.6. Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound operational decisions.8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.9. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.10. Strong knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.11.
