Job SummaryWe are seeking a driven and strategic General Manager to lead the launch and development of our Oklahoma operations. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of establishing and managing the new region, including operations, business development, team leadership, and P&L responsibility. You will play a pivotal role in translating our company's proven success in the Permian Basin and Delaware Basin to the Oklahoma market, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards.This is a unique opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives on building operations from the ground up, fostering a high-performing culture, and driving growth in a dynamic and competitive industry.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership• Lead the setup of Oklahoma operations, including personnel to support pipeline construction and dirt work projects.• Manage day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, and project execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.• Establish operational processes and systems aligned with corporate guidelines to ensure efficiency and scalability.Business Development• Develop and execute a regional growth strategy to secure new contracts with energy companies, municipalities, and other key clients.• Build and maintain relationships with local customers, vendors, and subcontractors to position the company as a trusted partner in the Oklahoma market.• Represent the company at local industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.Financial Management• Own the regional P&L, ensuring revenue, profit margins, and cost control meet corporate goals.• Assist the COO in Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the Oklahoma region.• Assist the COO in Negotiating contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability.Team Building & Leadership• Recruit, train, and develop a local team of highly skilled professionals, including, superintendents, foremen, Welders, and other positions as needed.• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.• Serve as a mentor and coach, empowering team members to achieve their professional goals while meeting company objectives.Compliance and Safety• Ensure all projects comply with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.• Oversee adherence to environmental regulations, permitting, and other local, state, and federal requirements.QualificationsEducation & Experience• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).• 10+ years of experience in pipeline construction or related heavy civil industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.• Proven experience in launching or managing regional operations, with a strong understanding of project execution, business development, and P&L management.Skills & Competencies• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.• Comprehensive knowledge of pipeline construction, dirt work, and industry-specific safety and quality standards.• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.• Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant tools.Other Requirements• Ability to travel within the Oklahoma region and to the corporate office or other operational areas as needed• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.• Ability to work in strenuous environments including extreme heat and cold. • Ability to menuever safely around the project locations and lift up to 50 pounds without issue.Why Join Our Team?• Be at the forefront of expanding our industry-leading operations into a new region.• Be a part of a high-performing team and drive regional growth.• Work for a company committed to safety, innovation, and employee development.• Competitive salary, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits package.
