GENERAL PURPOSE Collaborate on the development and communication of the operating plan for all U.S. operations, production and distribution facilities. Provide information contributing to effective planning for various operating groups, including Financial Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Distribution. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Continually monitor and seek to identify business trends that maximize revenue generating activities and minimize negative impacts of downward cycles. Develop and maintain proper procedures for all information databases to insure data integrity. Effectively integrate the Sales and Marketing information into the operations planning process. Lead the initiative to develop and integrate planning information for all business units into the U.S. operating plan. Participate and collaborate in development and integration of the appropriate forecasting tools into the relevant ERP and information systems. Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business or Economics preferred, or equivalent working experience. Skills and Abilities Understanding of operations planning processes. Broad based understanding of forecasting and master scheduling principles are essential along with the ability to use a wide variety of computer software in complex applications. Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and solve problems with all levels of management. Well developed conceptual and systems thinking skills. Well developed ability to organize, analyze and interpret data. Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation/communication software and tools currently being used in the office environment.
