Job Title: Operations Scheduler
Summary:
- You will be responsible for overseeing internal stakeholder relationships, providing guidance to ensure compliance with required regulations.
- Maintain the Master Schedule for site visibility to future orders, site capacity and utilization
- Provide input for label room production schedules across all shifts
- Hold frequent meetings to gather details from internal teams and communicate status of orders
- Aid in answering internal team questions as it relates to planning of the daily, weekly, and/or future production schedules
- This role will work with internal business partners, technical leaders, and subject matter experts to ensure all issues are escalated and that data-driven decisions are made to ensure timelines are met
Responsibilities
- Supplement and maintain detailed Master Project Schedules as serve as backup to lead scheduler.
- Work closely with production managers, quality assurance teams, and supply chain professionals to ensure seamless coordination across the production process
- Provide regular updates and reports to relevant stakeholders regarding production schedules
- Identify potential production delays or issues and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate risks
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling processes and automation systems to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Train and mentor team members on production scheduling best practices to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness
- As a backup and as needed, prepare and present reports on production schedules and performance to senior management
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Preferred-Bachelor's degree in life/health sciences, project management, or a related field
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/life science environment, with a strong emphasis on supply chain
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, at levels with the organization are required
- Ability to execute on task and drive completion even amongst ambiguity

- Minimum of 3 years of scheduling/planning work experience, in a clinical setting is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical packaging environment is preferred
