Description

The Operations Teller at the Penfield Branch pays to to $21.70/hr.

The Full time Operations Teller role will oversee teller line operational functions. Supports other branch tasks and functions; conducts scheduling of tellers and approval of time cards.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:>Completes daily activities of teller role, such as processing transactions for members, assisting with servicingissues taking action to ensure member data on file is complete.>Generates teller referrals for platform.>Monitors daily activities of other tellers, including schedules and time cards.>Monitors and maintains branch operations and activities for compliance with established policies, processes, and procedures.>Maintains branch cash levels via managing vault cash, orders and shipments.>Audits, balances and fills cash machines according to procedures.>Audits, balances and fills ATM's according to procedures. Performs first line maintenance on ATMs, and otherbranch equipment.>Attends training to perform functions and ensures tellers are operationally proficient.>Orders and maintains branch inventory, of negotiable items (i.e. debit cards, gift cards, corporate & starterchecks).>Responsible for Supervisor overrides to prevent fraud and losses.>Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:1. Member Service and Communications: To insure that the teller line is providing friendly,professional, personal service to all members. To keep management informed regarding key sales,operating, and staff issues affecting the branch.2. Accountability and Teamwork: To support teamwork and maintain a professional workenvironment; businesslike appearance.3. Job Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of products, services and operations.4. Productivity: Achieve individual and branch referral goals; accuracy in processing and work;operate efficiently and effectively.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Position Requirements

Experience Six months to two years as a teller or related job experience.Education Some college preferred.A high degree of integrity, trust, and diplomacy is required. Able to function effectivelyin a team environment. Maintains high degree of member service and solidcommunications skills. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
