CompensationThe base hourly rate for this position is $24.11.

The Plattsburgh facility specializes in roofing products, focused on modified bituminous membranes. The company is focused on sustainability, innovation and productivity.
Job Description As a newly hired operator at the facility, you will go through extensive training on our safety programs and daily operations.
You will perform tasks such as:
- Operating a forklift once certified (certification is conducted once hired);
- Performing quality tests according to visual acceptance standards;
- Assist in changeovers of the machine from one product line to another;
- Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, safety inspections, lubricating and testing;
- Adjust machine settings to ensure top quality product is being produced
All employees are expected to be team players and help others as needed. Additionally, operators should have problem solving capabilities and always be looking for ways to improve our processes and programs.
Salary: $24.11/hr. $3 differential 5pm-3am.
Schedule: 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 5PM-3AM *Occasional OT will be required*

Requirements: - Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- The ability to stand for long periods of time.
- The ability to manually lift at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.
- The ability to execute both fine and gross motor hand movements.
- The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment.
- The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
