Operator (27365) - Agua Caliente Spa Resort & Casino : Job Details

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

* The equipment operator, under supervision of the Superintendent and or Assistant Superintendent, preforms work involving multiple pieces of large and small equipment, including fairway mowers, rough, tees, greens and walking greens mowers

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

* Mows greens, tees, fairways and rough on a daily basis

* Aerify greens and tees, verti-cut greens and tees, operates turf vacuums and fairway renovators during season

* Maintains fuel, oil and other equipment fluid levels daily and reports equipment problems and failures

* Performs basic preventive maintenance on equipment

GAMING EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* 2 years minimum experience with operation of golf course mowing equipment

* Experience with tractors, skid steers and pull behind sweepers preferred

* Good understanding of golf and player etiquette

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

* To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to work in extreme weather conditions. This job also requires lifting and carrying of heavy tools and products.
