AAK Louisville Louisville, KY About the role The Finished Oil Loader is responsible forloading/unloading oil into and out of trucks and rail carts. This is controlledvia computer systems and manually turning valves/switches/controls. TheFinished Oil Loader is also responsible for preparing any new shipments of oilon the rail carts. Finally, the position must take samples throughout thedepartment to ensure the oil Maintains it's quality. Responsibilities Safety & Environmental Performance Identify high-risk safety/productivity issues and help to remedy them. Support full plant wide compliance with safety rules to further our goal of 0 accidents and encouragement of reporting and correcting near misses. Encourage employees to look for ways to improve safety and production processes. Prevention and timely reporting of any environmental issues. Adhere to GMP's and other work procedures as to assure product quality and consistency to our customers. Prevent injuries by encouraging employees to work safely The performance of the duties outlinedbelow must be carried out within the mission of the Company: to become the preferred supplier of fats& oils, shortening flakes, shortening chips, vegetable oil and soybean oilin the Food Industry. In pursuit of this mission, you will endeavor to providesuperior product quality and superior customer service at a competitive price. Pump the correct product with lab approval Sample each product and get lab approval If possible, all products must be on time unless production cannot get it done Pump to K1, must be itemized thoroughly Maintained filtration systems Communicate properly with the lab and K1 Enter loading information into the ITS system Enter oil movement into OIS system Perform any and all tasks assigned to you by a member of the AAK management team provided the task is approved by your supervisor. Monitor and update inventory Communicate with incoming truck or rail cart loads to make sure they are clean with clean hoses and are sealed properly. Monitor several different oil lines, storage tanks and El tank Control panels and valves to open and close flow pipes Clean and prepare rail cars with new oil shipments Load all bulk shipments from the storage to the trailer Cost Control Reduce the amount of rework by participating in employee involvement, process improvement and adherence to process guidelines Ensure work is completed to customers specifications Contribute to the effort in controlling costs and minimizing waste in your daily work About you High school diploma or GED with some aptitude in machines and industrial knowledge Ability to learn to drive a tractor trailer and other heavy machinery. Must be able to climb, bend and stoop, lift 50 lbs frequently, and stand/walk for long periods of time. Recordkeeping, reading temperature gauges, monitoring storage volume and contents, and paper documentation of loads and tracking of trailers is required. CDL Class A and strong background in industrial knowledge. Thorough knowledge of pumps.
