Operator Solid Waste Equipment, Walt Disney World - Disney : Job Details

The Operator Solid Waste Equipment is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of solid waste vehicles on the Walt Disney World property and deliver solid waste and recycling materials to the landfill, transfer station or other designated locations. The candidate must have a class “A” CDL driver's license and have a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience. Must pass drug and DOT driving tests.The pay rate for this role in Florida is $26.23 per hour.Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits. To learn more about our benefits visit: Basic Qualifications :A valid Florida CDL Class “A” driver's license for at least one (1) year (with NO E RESTRICTION)Ability to drive manual transmission on commercial vehicles such as vans, straight trucks, etc…Ability to obtain one year valid DOT medical card from Disney's Health ServicesAbility to pass the Disney road testRecent tractor-trailer experience or experience driving commercial vehicles such as vans, straight trucks, etc…Ability to lift up to 50 poundsExcellent written and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devicesAdditional Information :Schedule Availability:Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
