SUMMARY OF POSITION:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect for the Oracle Cloud ERP to join our dynamic team. The Solution Architect will work under the direction of the Senior Manager and will be part of the Enterprise Applications strategy and delivery excellence team. This individual will be a key liaison with the business in the areas of Oracle Cloud ERP modules - Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier and Product Management.
The primary focus of this role will be to architect, design, develop and deliver business solutions through detailed understanding of the current and future needs of the business partners. Based on a wide range of experience and industry research help, provide short term and long-term direction in the areas of Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier on boarding, Product Management and MDM (Customer, Supplier and Product). Partnering with stakeholders to achieve sustainable productivity through a collaborative and consultative approach. Work with other team members in other business functional areas within IS applications, such as finance, business analysts, developers, DBAs, and infrastructure, to support the successful deployment of the solution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, collaborating closely with internal teams and stakeholders to enhance business processes and drive efficiencies. This role requires expertise in Oracle Cloud Applications, along with the ability to manage both technical and functional aspects of Oracle Cloud ERP.
The Solution Architect will engage in senior level business decision maker discussions related to business value and business processes. Candidate should have passion for the business which is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the business experience. Solution Architect should also have demonstrable ability to troubleshoot complex issues and situations and bring resolution to the table working with multiple analysists, developers and teams.
The successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree with a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP supply chain modules. Position requires extensive relevant working experience including expertise in business solutions deployment.
Essential Functions:
- You should architect integrated solutions involving Oracle Fusion SRM modules (Procurement, Supplier Portal, Sourcing, Procurement Contracts, Supplier Management) with other Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., Financials, SCM) and third-party systems.
- You should collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end SRM solutions.
- You should be able to define and implement best practices for system architecture, data flow, and integration to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality.
- You should lead the design of customizations, extensions, and integrations to meet unique business needs while maintaining compliance with Oracle Cloud standards.
- You should be able to design and implement complex integrations between Oracle Cloud SCM and other enterprise applications (e.g., ERP and third-party systems) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration technologies.
- You should be able to develop and oversee custom developments, including extensions, workflows, and reports, using Oracle Cloud technologies such as Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Oracle BI Publisher, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
- You should ensure that integration points are secure, efficient, and meet both functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, scalability).
- You should monitor system performance and resolve issues to ensure system uptime and reliability and coordinate regular system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure Oracle Fusion SRM is up to date with the latest features and improvements.
- You should recommend process improvements and system enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
- You should be able to optimize Oracle SRM applications to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring they meet the high standards expected in a cloud environment.
- You should lead efforts for system upgrades, patches, and continuous improvements, ensuring that the Oracle Fusion SRM system remains current with new features and capabilities.
- You should be able to ensure the system remains secure, stable, and optimized for high availability and performance.
- You should be able to perform regular health checks, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and resolve system-related issues to maintain optimal functionality.
- You should be acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion SCM and assist with user inquiries and issues.
- Experience in configuring Oracle PDH application components including data imports, categorization, and quality checks (de-duping, etc.)
- Experience in designing API integration patterns to/from PDH.
- Strong understanding of Oracle PDH data model and architecture.
- Experience in Oracle PDH data migration and data quality management tools.
- Ensure seamless integration between Oracle Cloud PDH and other systems
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Fusion and Cloud SCM applications, including configuration, implementation, and support.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement, Supplier Portal, Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Management modules.
- Good understanding of Data Conversion of Contracts, Supplier Master, Chart of Account, Locations etc and other areas of Oracle Financials and SCM applications.
- Experience in designing and implementing integrations with Oracle SRM using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, security standards, and performance tuning within the Oracle Cloud environment.
- Expertise in Oracle Cloud technologies such as ADF (Application Development Framework), Oracle BI Publisher, and Oracle Reporting Cloud.
- Proficiency in database management, including SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
- Oracle Cloud certification or relevant training is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work in office.
