Job Summary:Dexian is seeking a Oracle Database Developer for an opportunity with a client located in Chicago, IL.Responsibilities:Create logical data models and translate them into physical database schema designs, including defining tables, columns, relationships, and constraintsWrite complex SQL queries to retrieve, insert, update, and delete data efficientlyDevelop stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers using Oracle's PL/SQL language to implement business logic within the databaseAnalyze database queries and identify performance bottlenecks, optimizing database structures and indexes to improve query execution speedImplement database security measures to control access to sensitive data and maintain data integrityMay perform some database administration tasks like managing database backups, space allocation, and user managementWork closely with application developers to understand application requirements and integrate database solutionsWrite test cases to validate database functionality and troubleshoot any issues that ariseRequirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related fieldProven experience in Oracle database development, including design, coding, and performance tuningFamiliarity with other Oracle tools like Oracle SQL Developer, Oracle APEX, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)Recent experience as an Oracle Database DeveloperNoSQL (Cosmos DB)PL/SQLCloud (Azure preferred)Must be US Citizen who can work 40 hours per weekDexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
