This position requires a well organized and detail-oriented team player that will take the initiative on follow-up and will question the legitimacy on specific customer information.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Assist in the creation of delivery notes for customers, consolidate multiple deliveries for customers, assist in routing orders on cost effective carriers, generate shipping documents for customer orders, prioritize and group customer deliveries for on time shipping, create warehouse floor transfer orders for order fulfillment, confirm, update and print completed shipping documentation as needed.* Assist in receiving incoming calls on customer orders, incoming e-mails on customer orders, tracks and file copies of shipping documents for customer orders, acts as contact person for shipping carriers as needed, assures special handling requirements for customers are met.* Assist in scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments, filling and storage of all BOL's, assist in resolving receiving exceptions from vendors, communicate expedite receipt requirements to receiving associates.* Provide backup support for UPS shipments.* Label Menards loads for shipment.* Perform other warehouse processing functions as required; perform assigned duties as a member of or in support of distribution task forces.* Support & complete all safety programs.EXPERIENCE:* 1-2 years PC experience preferred.* SAP experience desired* Prior customer service experience desiredEDUCATION:* High School Diploma or GEDTRAINING AND SKILLS:* Planning and organizing* Verbal & written communication skills* Teamwork/cooperation* Detail orientated* Customer focus* Handle multiple priorities* Process managementPHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:* Subject to standing for extended period* Repetitive hand movements, lifting, and placing of boxes varying in weight up to 37lbs* Temperature extremes of up to 110 degrees in peak summer monthsNIBCO is committed to equal opportunity employment.
