Cogent is currently seeking an Order Coordinator for our Fenton, Missouri location. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree (minimum) along with previous experience in a customer service/order coordination/scheduling position. Typical duties of Inside Order Coordinator may include:
* Reviews orders for accuracy and completion. Clarifies invalid and unclear order requirements with sales staff
* Enters all sales orders from Application Engineers into our ERP system
* Places orders with vendors to purchase customer orders
* Computes prices, shipping costs and any appropriate discounts
* Handles inbound calls from customers, vendors and sales personnel
* Provides sales quotes for parts to customers from vendor provided resources
* Determines appropriate timing of orders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings
* Verifies and updates customer information
* Checks customer account for credit and outstanding payments
* Informs customer and/or salesmen of shipping date and any possible delays
* Accurately prepares invoices in our billing system
* Electronically files copies of all orders received
* Adheres to productivity standards to ensure all orders are handled in a timely and efficient manner
* Customer Service is KEY; you will have contact with customers on a daily basis
Position Order Coordinator Position Requirements
Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
* Must be proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Google Drive and Gmail
* Must be a high paced self-motivator who promotes teamwork among co-workers
* Must be able to multi-task such as simultaneously using telephone and computer skills
* Must have a general knowledge of basic mathematical computations
* Must have the ability to sit for extended periods while typing and reading on the computer
* Experience using Epicor Prophet 21 or similar ERP software programs preferred
* Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
