JOB TITLE: Order Entry Representative

LOCATION: Houston, TX

POSITION REPORTS TO: Order Entry Manager

SCHEDULE: M-F 9:00am-6:00pm, some overtime and weekends may be required

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience and skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Create and enter sales orders for fuel, tanks, services and special projects with accuracy and detailed notes

* Receive telephone calls and handle caller inquiries in a professional manner

* Coordinate customer deliveries with other terminals

* Communicate with sales representatives and dispatchers regarding customer needs

* Other related tasks as assigned by manager

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

* Local's only (must live within 60 miles)

* Minimum one years' experience in a high-volume data entry and customer service environment

* Minimum one-year recent phone experience in a corporate environment communicating with customers

* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word programs

* Must be able to type minimum of 30 WPM

* Must be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and work well in a team environment

* Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines

* Adept at problem solving

* Professional appearance and demeanor

* Stable employment history

* Must be able to pass background screening

* Clear concise written and verbal communication skills, must be able to accurately repeat information back to the customer

* Flexible with change

* Willingness to accept constructive criticism and learn

* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining a positive demeanor

PREFERRED

* SAP experience

* Experience in the fuel or transportation industry preferred

* Customer Service phone experience
