Order Entry Representative - Staffmark Group : Job Details

Staffmark is currently hiring an Order Entry Representative for a leading company that provides a wide range of products and solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Join our team in Houston, TX, and become part of a dynamic and growing organization!

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

As an Order Entry Representative, you'll be responsible for managing the entire order-processing cycle. This includes acknowledging and entering customer orders, reconciling open orders, releasing shipments, and providing customers with accurate order updates. Strong communication and organizational skills are key to ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate order management.

Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound calls, respond to emails, and make outbound calls as needed
• Process customer orders according to established procedures
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery
• Respond to inquiries regarding inventory availability, lead times, freight charges, shipment tracking, and production cycles
• Maintain communication with team members to update them on order statuses and potential issues
• Prioritize accuracy, responsiveness, and timeliness in all customer interactions

Skills and Experience Required:

• 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in computer systems, including email (Outlook) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Experience with Order Entry and ERP planning systems
• Ability to manage high volumes of data entry with excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to following processes and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus
