We aim to provide valuable experiences for all interns and the departments they are assigned to. Each intern will take the lead on a project (or projects) for the summer and present to other interns, internship supervisors, and executives at the end of the summer.We are looking for a supply chain/order fulfillment intern. Preference will be given to those pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.Potential projects for this internship could include:Looking at efficiencies and processesProviding a fresh set of eyes to our layouts and charts and making recommendations on improvementsData collection of a new time tracking system and finding ways to be more efficientData analysis for downtimeData collection and creating efficiency processes for a new lineEXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:Well versed in analytical problem solvingOrganized, focused, and logicalLearns quickly and works well in a teamFlexible and able to adapt to changing needs and assignmentsSelf-motivated with a desire to get things doneDesire to learnPositive attitude and a healthy sense of humilityCurrent college/university studentExperience with Microsoft Office and Excel, including creating graphs and completing data analysisSauder Woodworking Co. is North America's leading producer of ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture and one of the top five residential furniture manufacturers in the United States.
