Since 2020, the client has doubled in growth year over year through relationships with the world's largest retailers, The Home Depot, Walmart, Ace Hardware, Amazon, and many others. Their growth is fueled by unique, high-value products and supported by a highly functioning, values-based organization. The client operates a commercial office in Mooresville, NC with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Accounting functions and a new 150,000 sq. ft manufacturing and logistics facility located in Anderson, Indiana that will soon employ over 100 employees.
Overview:
This position is responsible order processing for a portfolio of customers that includes major U.S. retailers. They will manage all order processing and administrative activities, customer portals, and SPS Commerce for Walmart, Costco, Menards and other U.S. retailers and distributors. In addition, they will be responsible for e-commerce order processing. This position is required to perform at a professional level of customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
Order Processing:
Assist with customer onboardingRead and review customer logistics, routing, and order processing guides to ensure compliance.Manage customer purchase orders from receipt to invoice, following guidelines set by each individual customer.Schedule and review shipments through customer portals.Communicate effectively with clients to ensure timely shipment of orders.Create and send ASNs (Advanced Shipment Notices) through SPS Commerce, email, or customer's portal.Submit invoices for payment both manually and through EDI (SPS Commerce or customer's portal).Create and submit tickets in any customer portals or via email for any order issues for assigned customers.Follow-up on AR, including but not limited to submitting shortage claims, resubmitting invoices, disputing customer chargebacks.Customer support, including but not limited to checking product availability, tracking shipments, working with the clients, answering the phone and emails, etc.Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business major preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience processing orders with large retail customers such as THD, Lowe's, Walmart, or others.
Skills Needed:
Proficiency working with an ERP system such Oracle, People Soft or others. Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA is a plus.Ability to quickly analyze and synthesize data from several systems.Knowledge of EDI and SPS Commerce or other electronic interface platforms is a plus.Ability to understand inventory movements and transactionsExcellent computer skills for email correspondence, data entry, and web inquiries.Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Excellent communication skills in person, electronically, and by phone.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.Demonstrates detail oriented, problem-solving skills, is self-motivated, and has the ability to work independently.Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with excellent telephone, computer, and organizational skills. They will have experience working with large retailers in processing orders and prides themselves in their attention to detail. The person should be flexible, able to multitask, and enjoy working with people. This person should be self-sufficient and able to organize their time to manage multiple large projects at once. The position is full-time and will be in-person in the office in Mooresville.
