Compensation:$85,800-$94,380
Work Schedule:8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday, with up to two days per week remote work opportunities.
General Summary:Under the direction of the assistant director, Human Resource Services, identify organizational needs, conduct targeted training sessions and work closely with State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) department leadership to improve performance, organizational culture and operational efficiency. Enhance associate career growth opportunities and foster a culture of continuous development and excellence across the system.
Summary of Responsibilities:- Collaborate with department leadership to assess training needs and organizational challenges. Provide coaching and mentorship to managers and employees to build leadership and team capabilities.
- Design, develop and implement customized training and development programs aimed at improving individual and team performance.
- Partner with leadership to drive change management initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Discover, assess, advocate and coach appropriate behavioral changes and/or mediate resolution needed because of performance improvement plans, disciplinary action or exit interviews. Recommend participation in programs and other interventions as needed. Maintain an approach that emphasizes actionable next steps.
- Conduct associate investigations or performance action coaching as needed.

Summary of Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business or related field required.
- Five or more years of experience in organizational development, training, or a related role required.
- Certification in organizational development, training, or related fields (e.g., CPTD, SHRM-CP, etc.) preferred.
- Experience in change management and leadership development.
- Experience with human capital management systems (Workday), online learning management (LinkedIn Learning and other platforms) and employee engagement tools. Ability to obtain certification in Organizational Development Tools, e.g. DISC assessments.
- Ability to accurately interpret and apply policies, procedures and laws to resolve human and administrative problems required.
