Job Summary:

The Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for developing training programs, facilitating change management initiatives, and reviewing current development programs to ensure alignment with Care New England's strategic initiatives.

The role will build human capital through employee development programs throughout the Care New England system. Measures employee performance to gauge the success the success of programs and identify areas of improvement for future programs.

Serves as a key Organizational Development resource and internal consultant to employees, managers and the Human Resources team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develops and conducts needs analysis to identify training needs

2. Designs and develops training programs for workforce based on identified needs.

3. Utilizes various teaching/presentation methods to maximize learning to designated audiences and provides follow-up assistance with new skills.

4. Coordinates and facilitates employee activities and events.

5. Functions as internal Organizational Development consultant and facilitator to assist the system in reaching strategic goals.

6. Collects, analyzes and distributes statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes.

7. Prepares cost estimates for specified training programs.

8. Enhances professional growth and development.

9. Perform special projects and related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with multiple audiences are required, and an ability to cultivate trusting working relationships with people from a large range of backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet the needs of changing project requirements in a complex work environment. MS Office skills required.
