JOB SUMMARY:The Ormco North American Sales Director, Special Markets (NASD SM) is responsible for growing revenue and margin for the Orthodontics product portfolio in the Special Markets segments including General Practitioners, DSO/OSO, Distributors. The NASD SM will be responsible for the achievement of financial targets for North America Special Markets sales through the execution of the commercial strategy. He/She will have direct oversight of the DSO/OSO Sales Team, and will focus on business expansion and new account cultivation while maintaining great customer experience and retention.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual sales plans for North America. This includes leading the team to win new business as well as expand utilization of products in current accounts.
  • Ability to assess market and customer trends and pivot in accordance to market, competition or internal changes strategy.
  • Create and implement playbooks for success, ensuring sales team is focused on highest priority activities to drive sales.
  • Lead highly effective sales management team.
  • Actively monitor and address situations that may impact customers – customer questions, pricing, competitive pressures, distribution, market/industry movements and other business and/or customer challenges that may impact customer satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to drive customer centricity. Extended team to partner with includes marketing, clinical education, sales operations, sales training, product management and R&D.
  • Facilitate a culture reflective of Envista CIRCLe Values - Customer Centricity, Innovation, Respect, Continuous Improvement and Leadership.
  • Understands, supports, and enforces the company's policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all the company's customers.
  • Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years' sales experience with at least 2 years' experience independently managing teams.
  • Orthodontic or Dental Special Markets experience.
  • Travel: Estimated overnight travel is up to 50%.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience delivering sales coaching and feedback to sales team, both verbal and written. Ability to teach and train regional sales managers to be highly effective coaches.
  • Track record of consistently achieving quota/plan and taking share in the market.
  • Track record of hiring and developing high performing sales managers.
  • Track record of developing and retaining talent.
  • Experience working with key customers.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and reasoning skills - affinity to leverage data to make decisions versus instinct.
  • Target Market Salary RangeActual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.$201,400 - $230,500
