Orthodontic Care Assistant

Key Details:

  • Full Time: Monday - Thursday
  • X-ray Certification and CPR-BLS Required
  • Previous Orthodontic Experience Required

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality and compassionate care to every patient.
  • Assist in guiding parents and patients through treatment processes.
  • Educate patients about oral hygiene and postoperative care.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
  • Take and manage x-rays, ensuring they are documented correctly in patient charts.
  • Ensure operational readiness by preparing tray set-ups for procedures.
  • Mix dental materials and prepare for various orthodontic procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness by sterilizing instruments and disinfecting rooms.
  • Support dental professionals during treatment.
  • Accurately document patient information and treatment plans.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to maintain clinic efficiency.

Your Qualifications:

  • Certification as an Orthodontic or Dental Assistant (as required by state).
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Orthodontic Assisting is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
  • Strong customer service focus and satisfaction orientation.
  • Genuine love for working with children.
  • Demonstrated integrity and reliability.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Consistently maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
