The Orthopedic unit is a steady, collaborative environment. Dealing with a range of orthopedic surgeries, there's always something new coming in!QualificationsSchedule: 8 hour shifts; Monday – Friday, no weekends or holidaysEssential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Admit and prep patients for orthopedic procedures
• Keeping a close eye on vital signs and responding when needed
• Administering medications and providing pain management
• Discharging patients post procedure

Qualifications:

• A valid RN license
• Bedside nursing experience
• ACLS preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

Education/ExperienceMinimum Required:

• A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting

License/CertificationMinimum Required:

• Current NYS RN License

Preferred:

• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
• Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
