OS&D Clerk - CrossCountry Freight Solutions : Job Details

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking an OS&D Clerk! This position will address overage, shortage, and damage issues; research causes of claims; analyze root causes; determine resolutions; and communicate findings to management, supervisors, and or customers. We are looking for someone who is detailed oriented, able to multi-task, and has great customer service skills! Our goal is to develop a long-term employee who wants to be successful and always willing to learn more!Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pmPay: $18-20/hour depending on experienceJob Duties:

• Primarily responsible for the daily management of company-wide OS&D processes, utilizing various resources as required.
• Maintain the OS&D bay inventory and liquidation of damaged goods, In addition to insuring all shipments in distress are moved to the proper terminal for service. As well as helping to advise smaller terminals.
• Plans, schedules, coordinates and implements methods and procedures for the most efficient pickup and delivery of customer's freight.
• Verifies accuracy of pick-up orders placed by Customer Service Representatives. Checks for discrepancies and timeliness of order. Answers customer service calls.
• Communicates with other operations personnel to resolve operational issues. Handles very high telephone call volume in courteous and efficient manner.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Must possess excellent interpersonal, organization, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Must be proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet PC software; Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel preferred.
• Must be able to accurately type and proofread business correspondence and spreadsheet data for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and data entry errors.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities under limited supervision.
• Forklift experience preferred
