Actual pay is based on years of licensure.POSITION SUMMARY: The nurse resident engages is a 12-month program that offers new graduate nurses a place of BELONGING where they can learn, grow, and thrive as they transition from students to safe and competent professionals. The residency program provides dedicated preceptors, workshops, mentorship, connection time, and well-being sessions. OSF Healthcare is committed to empowering nurses with the resources necessary to deliver compassionate and high-quality care.QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School Diploma/ GEDExperience: Less than 6 months of continuous registered nurse employment in an acute care setting.Licensure/ Certification: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan) Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLSOther Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
