OT needed for 12 weeks in an inpatient setting in Bryan, TX. Title: OT (Occupational Therapist) # of open positions: 1 Specialty: OT (Occupational Therapy) Certifications: BLS Start Date: 2025-01-27 Shift: Days Shift Length: 8 hours Shift Notes: M-F 8hr Days, Every other Saturday, First to Float Assignment Length: 12 weeks Notes: 2 year(s) of experience required; First to Float between Bryan and College Station campus (16 minutes apart) as needed Department: OT # of patients treated per day : General caseload is about 8-10 patients per day with expectation of 1 completed eval per hour worked. OT's will mostly see evals but when given treats, the expectation is 1.25 completed treatments per worked hour General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) : Healthcare Provider BLS; Licensed by the State of Texas - Occupational Therapist Other Certs Required for all OT: n/a Common diagnosis / Types of patients : General acute care hospital: telemetry, oncology, critical care, neuro, orthopedic, surgical, general medical; *Possible occassional NICU coverage for NICU trained & experienced OTs only Acute Inpatient,: Acute Inpatient hospital What areas are they required to cover? Acute Inpatient hospitals. (Based in Bryan but may float to College Station Hospital campus as needed) Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: General acute including critical care; NICU is beneficial but not required Rehab Aides: COTA's Yes, you will assist in supervising Rehab Techs, rarely a COTA Shifts & Scheduling 8:00 - 4:30pm with a 30 min lunch. Monday thru Friday with alternating Saturdays EOW Weekend Requirement Alternating Saturdays EOW *Comp days provided to keep work week down to 5 days Holiday Requirement Major holidays per staffing needs Scrub Color/Dress Code Maroon scrubs - NOT PROVIDED Department specific orientation Up to 9 days, dependent on experience level Position: Therapist Specialty/Modality: Occupational Therapy Licenses/Certifications: CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support), State License-Occupational Therapist-Texas, NPI NUMBER Physical Abilities: From 50-100lbs Travel the country while you enhance your clinical skills, perfect your resume, and build your dream career.
