Locations: Ganado, AZType:TribalSalary Range:Salary NegotiableOpen Period:7/5/2023 until filledSummary:Affordable Health Insurance, 403B Pension Plan, Traditional Healing Reimbursement, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, AD&D, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Recognition Program, PTO & Paid Holiday with (2) Floating Holidays, Wellness Center Membership, Child Care Services, Onsite Housing for eligible positions, and Loan Repayment ProgramMore info about area:Job Announcement Flyer:Duties:Functions as the Nursing Supervisor. • Plans the work for the unit, adjusting work schedules as needed to meet the staffing and patient care needs. • Implements personnel management procedures, training and career development plans, grievance procedures, safety practices as well as specific orientation and training of each employee. • Recommends, initiatives various personnel actions, performance awards, and disciplinary actions for employees at level of authority and works collaboratively with other Nursing leaders to meet Division of Nursing, hospital and federal initiatives and goals. • Perform the full range of patient care duties. • Participate in and support efforts of various nursing and hospital-wide committees for hospital improvement and quality initiatives at Sage Memorial. • Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances including The Joint Commission Accreditation. • Oversee patient care and delegated functions in the outpatient clinic based upon the nursing process and in compliance with policy and procedure and standards of care. • Responsible for daily assessment of the overall quality of nursing care being provided. • Responsible for motivating, teaching, coordinating orientation, and assisting nursing department staff members in providing skilled nursing care. • Ensure confidentiality of all employee information. • Complete employee evaluations accordingly and within the required time frame. • Display a professional spirit that fosters positive working relationships. • Provide written monthly and quarterly reports as required to the CNO. • Will uphold and be responsible for identifying and participating in quality improvement (QI) projects in departmental, division, and hospital-wide initiatives. • Responsible for monitoring and tracking relevant national metrics and works with Medical and Nursing leadership to address issues to ensure Sage Memorial is in compliance with regulations and good standing with quality metrics. • Responsible for maintaining and updating all required training and logs (e.g., Restraints, Transfusion, Code Blue Critiques, etc.) • Create and maintain OPD nursing budget annually to ensure appropriate funds for staffing, supplies, equipment, and programs. • Provide and support activities regarding implementation or hospital policy on Patient's Rights and Responsibilities. • Please see additional duties on Job Description.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; MSN strongly preferred. • Two (2) years of clinical experience in respective department. • One (1) year of experience in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is highly preferred. • Current unrestricted nursing license from the state of Arizona or another compact licensing state. • Valid American Heart Association certification in ACLS and BLS.
