McLean Hospital is seeking to fill a full-time position for a licensed therapist in an outpatient clinic program called McLean OnTrack which is dedicated to the assessment and treatment of young adults ages 18-30 in the early stages of psychosis. The position is for 40 hours per week.As part of a comprehensive outpatient program, the therapist will perform clinical intake assessments, individual and group therapy with patients, family support in both individual and group settings, and case management services. The clinician will participate in a multidisciplinary team with a flexible, creative approach to addressing the needs of this particular population. The position includes a reliable and reasonable caseload, regular clinical supervision, opportunities to contribute to program development, and ongoing educational and training opportunities. Additionally, participation in other hospital activities including committees, teaching, and research is encouraged.Candidates must be independently licensed in the state of Massachusetts, LICSW. Clinical experience working with young adults and familiarity with treating patients experiencing psychosis is preferred for this position.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Provide clinical services including individual psychotherapy, case management, family support in individual and group settings, and crisis evaluation.•Collaboratively work within OnTrack's multidisciplinary teams.•Maintain contact with family members as appropriate.•Complete documentation and other required paperwork such as treatment plans, progress notes, clinical summaries, and other documentation in a timely manner in accordance with hospital policies.•Participate in responding to referral inquiries and reviewing referrals to the program.•Serve as liaison to other health care professionals both within and outside of the hospital including mental health practitioners and others (e.g., PCP)•Collaboratively work with payers and managed care organizations as needed.•Participate in program and hospital administrative activities (e.g., staff meetings, hospital committees, etc.).•Maintain awareness of medicolegal/risk management issues.•Participate in hospital teaching and research efforts.All McLean team members are expected to consistently demonstrate our values of integrity, compassion, respect, diversity, teamwork, excellence and innovation in their work activities and interactions.QualificationsQualificationsEDUCATION: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)LICENSE: LICSW in the state of Massachusetts requiredEXPERIENCE: A minimum of two years post-degree clinical experience required.
