Protouch Staffing - Permanent is seeking a Outpatient Ultrasound Technologist for a job in Albany, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/10/2024 Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Staff Ultrasound Technologist - Albany, NY Under general supervision, is responsible for the coordination and administration of all ultrasound exams; ensures technical quality and timely reporting of results. Assures compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies related to patient and employee safety. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Performs ultrasound procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality. • Offers expertise to physicians regarding appropriateness of additional/modified studies, etc. • Escorts patients to treatment room. Assists with dressings as necessary. • Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of ultrasound services. • Develops and processes images. Qualifications: • Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasound technology. • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. • Certification as a registered ultrasound technologist (ARDMS) required. • Current CPR certifications required. • Certification in RVT preferred.
