Outreach and Project Support Specialist

Customer Care Services & Program Implementation

Location: Massachusetts (Hybrid – Home Office with Local Travel)

This position requires travel across Massachusetts, Connecticut, Southern New Hampshire, Southern Maine, Rhode Island.

ICF is seeking an Outreach and Project Support Specialist to support our mid-stream electrification initiatives for a consortium of five New England markets: Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island. The chosen individual will spearhead the strategy, development, and management of residential midstream program offerings in these states.

To support our growth, we are seeking candidates with a strong interest in residential energy efficiency programs, focused on electrification through the implementation of heat pump technologies.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee program document organization and evaluation
  • Maintain communications with key stakeholders and team members
  • Manage a pipeline of new and existing participants
  • Ensure program participation goals are met
  • Outreach to new and existing service providers
  • Train service providers on participation requirements
  • Track and report outreach outcomes
  • Conduct market research
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across a Trade Ally/Service Provider network in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island
  • Other Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with major local, national, and regional distributors, suppliers, and manufacturers to support their participation in the programs
  • Cultivate and develop new relationships and partnerships with trade allies and professional organizations to ensure program awareness and adoption
  • Maintain strong ongoing communications with participants and other interested stakeholders to assess their needs and to receive feedback on their experience with the program
  • Support the marketing and promotional messaging and contribute to the merchandising activities for energy efficient products with key utility contracts
  • Demonstrate effective task prioritization and deadline/deliverable management skills
  • What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) experience
  • Must have valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
  • What we would like you to have:

  • Outstanding skills in organization, flexibility, financial and time management, analysis, stakeholder collaboration and outreach, marketing planning and execution, event management, written and verbal communications, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills
  • 2+ years of experience managing successful energy efficiency opportunities, with specific expertise in one of the following: HVAC contractors, distributors, commercial real estate, federal government, or retail customers
  • Experienced in mechanical equipment and lighting distribution and sales
  • Working knowledge of demand side management (DSM) programs
  • Experience with midstream and upstream energy efficiency programs
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities without diminished effectiveness
  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude both in person and in virtual collaboration settings
  • Strong adaptability and project prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated experience with business development, outside sales, and/or customer services
  • Highly organized and customer service oriented
  • Strong communication skills

    Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

    The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $37,667.00 - $64,034.00 Massachusetts Remote Office (MA99)
