The Key Program is currently seeking a full-time, in-home (Outreach Caseworker) also known as our Family Support Center Worker to work with children/youth and their families referred through DCF. The position will be based out of our Taunton, MA office and work with families in surrounding communities. What you bring... The Family Support Center Worker is an hourly-paid position requiring a Bachelor's degree in a human services related field and one year direct care experience (having part-time, volunteer or internship experience in human services is acceptable). All candidates must be 21 years of age or older; have a valid state driver's license; and, have a legally registered and insured car for work use. All candidates must have the ability to work a varied and rotating schedule including days, evenings and weekend shifts. (Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole preferred). Collaborate with families (who are referred through the Department of Children and Families) to implement identified goals within their homes, schools and communities; Provide direct care services as indicated by the client's treatment plan in the area of health, education, vocation, legal and family/foster family intervention; Facilitate individual client and family counseling, mediation, and support; Coordinate and lead creative therapeutic recreational activities with clients/families; Locate community resources for clients and families to assist with identified goals; Complete case documentation (assessments, daily treatment notes, progress reviews and CANS reports) in a thorough, professional and timely manner; Participate in a regional on-call system.
