Outside Sales Representative - LaSalle Network : Job Details

LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of our client, one Chicago's Top 50 Private Companies and one of Americas largest independent paper and packaging distribution firms. They are currently looking for an Outside Sales Representative that has experience in the packaging industry. This person will be based in the Des Moines, Iowa area and manage a territory covering the surrounding major cities. The Outside Sales Representative will be expected to take an entrepreneurial approach to develop new business based on their own long-term strategic relationships to grow revenue and profitability. Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Recognize customer needs, strong proven presentation skills and ability to effectively manage a sales territory and the selling process
• Proven ability to develop and execute a sales plan to reach target accounts
• Work with Executive Management to establish market penetration strategies and develop sales objectives
• Build new business relationships and grow existing customer accounts and channel partners

Outside Sales Representative Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience required
• 5+ years of outside sales experience in the paper and/or packaging industry with a successful track record
• Working knowledge of CRM and product database systems
• Must be willing to travel
