Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) refers to a range of accounting and financial services provided by Bowers CPAs & Advisors. These services include outsourced CFO, Controller and accounting services including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning; financial statement preparation; full-service bookkeeping; vendor bill processing and payment; customer invoicing; payroll processing and tax reporting; sales tax preparation. Due to the groups continued growth, we are recruiting for CAAS Accounting Manager/Controller position. Job Summary: Watertown, NY
In the role, you will be a member of CAAS group accountable for providing Controller level accounting services including month-end review and closing of financial records, processing payables and receivables and various other accounting operations for assigned clients.
Requirements:
* Oversee and manage responsibilities of assigned CAAS transactional staff
* Ensure completeness and accuracy of all transaction processing performed by CAAS transaction staff
* Perform monthly accounting reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts for assigned clients
* Manage month-end close for assigned clients
* Assist with development of financial budgets
* Prepare and analyze financial reporting
* Assist in preparing proposals for CAAS services
* Participate in marketing events
Qualifications:
* B.S degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
* Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting with 2 years supervisory experience
* Experience with QuickBooks preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Excellent communicator
* Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
* Able to manage priorities and workflow
* Commitment to excellence and high standards
Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000 DOE
