Management/Leadership Duties:
Manage club operations to ensure policies and procedures are followed at all timesTrain and supervise all team members in the gym including Front Desk and Housekeeping AssociatesWork in cooperation with GM to manage/process cancellations following procedures in place to retain membersEnforce all club rules, policies and promote proper execution of all procedures.Manage membership questions, concerns, and inquiries at the front deskPartner with General Manager to provide a best-in-class, member-centric experience that strengthens member relationships and builds member retention.Ensure members receive a friendly greeting/check-in and prompt attention to their needs.Engage members with various fitness offerings including personal training, group exercise classes, and Gold's Gym SoCal digital content.Maintain relationships with members and serve as a resource for their questions or concerns and putting them in touch with the right resources as appropriate.Provide a clean, friendly, well-maintained club to members and guestsHelp new members become comfortable in the club.Tour potential members through the club and describe the facility, equipment, services, and amenities that directly tie back to their individual fitness needs and goals.Ensure all guests are registered and entered into the system.On-board new members successfully and assist with all member retention activities in order to drive club profitability.There are some MUST HAVES:
Ability to use sound business judgment and have strong analytical skillsAbility to effectively communicate with constituentsEffective listening skillsEffective delegation and follow-up skillsEffective planning and organization skillsDemonstrates ability to create a positive environmentDemonstrates willingness and openness for self-developmentAbility to identify and use resources to improve overall operationsStrong leadership qualities coupled with excellent motivational, communication, and team-building skills will make you an ideal candidate for this position.College degree preferred.
Current CPR Certification is required.
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication, and appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
The schedule is Monday - Friday: 8:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m.
