We are currently seeking an On-Site Owner/Operator and equity partner for a Goddard School in a prime location in Nassau County, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in education or business or both. She/he must be mission-driven and inspired to build a strong, unique and world-class School that will serve as the hub of the community for generations.
The ideal candidate must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to build the school community from the ground up. A natural salesperson who possesses a clear understanding of superior customer service, she/he is people-oriented with strong social-emotional and communication skills. She/He must have proven experience building trust and resolving conflict with many different stakeholders (parents, children, faculty, admin, the franchise). Comfortable managing every aspect of business – sales, customer service, communications, marketing, human resources, bookkeeping, payroll, and events planning - she/he must also have a passion for education and a desire to make a lasting and meaningful impact. She/He will oversee a team of 3-4 Directors, 40 faculty, 200 families, and will need to work with a Regional Director and Goddard Systems Franchise Consultant. The on-site Owner/Operator may earn a base salary with potential for profit sharing and distributions as well as equity in the business. He/She will oversee a team of about 40 faculty, including a School Directors and Assistant Directors, and about 200 families.
Responsibilities: The on-site owner/operator does not have to have experience with all of these responsibilities, but must possess a willingness to learn and capacity to succeed.
