P6 Scheduler - TRS Staffing Solutions : Job Details

Urgently seeking a P6 Scheduler for a Power Plant in Tatum, TX. Role is offering Per Diem, and they are looking for someone to start ASAP.

Under general supervision, develops cost control/scheduling procedures for ongoing maintenance and outages at a power plant. Must be proficient in P6.

• Successful candidate will develop and maintain project planning and scheduling activities for ongoing maintenance activities and outage support
• Participate in weekly project cost review/schedule meetings
• Develop and implement a basic change management system for maintenance activities
• Develop and maintain management, project and control level schedules
• Analyze current schedule/cost trends and deviations, identify potential problem areas, and recommends corrective courses of action
• Maintain the established project cost/schedule program and prepare schedule/cost status reports; provide meaningful, accurate historical and benchmarking data; assist in generating, checking and analyzing data to ensure accuracy
• Maintain orderly records to provide audit trail data; and coordinates and participates in internal and external audits; tracks risk and opportunities
• Support development of project risk assessments
• Coordinate planning/scheduling with client Order Management Systems
• Provide outage planning and ensures schedule of activities includes the clients Integrated schedule
