Here at Electri-Cord, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence in all aspects of our work.The Plant manager will be responsible for all production operations in the Westfield PA plant including safety, production, planning, manufacturing engineering and facilities. The Plant Manager will be part of the senior operations team and work with the other operations leaders to set overall Enterprise best practices to safely drive efficiency, lower costs, improve quality and contribute to higher profitability. There are about 40 people in the plant manager's direct organization and another 20 people not under the supervision of the plant manager but in the same facility. The Plant Manager will manage, coach and lead the PA manufacturing plant teams and interact with the production support functions to ensure ECM delivers to its customers high quality products and services on time and at or better than expected costs. The Plant Manager will ensure that all production work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products are in accordance with customer specifications, requirements and expectations, in addition to all Electri-Cord SOPs. Collaborates and integrates support from all departments; Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Estimating and Maintenance to ensure right first time and every time products. The Plant Manager will be a hands-on manufacturing leader with the tenacity and experience to drive results on the plant floor and across the manufacturing facility.Expected to engage as a key collaborator and contributor in all investigations pertaining to or stemming from; customer (CAR) or internal (ICAR) quality issues requiring manufacturing support. Also expected to be the voice of manufacturing in all activities requiring support for resolution of any customer dissatisfies and other continuous improvement activitiesKey member of the Enterprise Operations management team to ensure common best practices, and best in class KPIs are in place across the Enterprise. The Enterprise Operations Management team will roll out LEAN Enterprise principles and support continuous improvement activities. To ensure that ECM is a best-in-class operations entity able to compete with the best competitors.Responsibilities:

  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years in manufacturing management
    • Experience in contract manufacturing
    • Demonstrated complete mastery of production operations
    • Demonstrated experience managing and leading others in a production environment
    • Expertise in removing obstacles and barriers
