What will you do?
The Packager is responsible for all production activities under the packaging program. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the packaging process including production performance to ensure that production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating packaging equipment; including process pumps, compressors, warehousing equipment, and forklifts.
- Communicate with logistics to ensure that all bulk and packaged deliveries are executed in accordance with customer requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that quality control is implemented constantly. Personally follow all operational processes and carry out quality control checks and ensure the close inspection of work activities of the team. Reinforce the importance of the Awareness policy to site personnel, to keep the smooth and safe running of workshop operations.
- Carry out checks of incoming products and materials, and site generated AHRI and customer drums.
- Carry out operational activities including preparing, filling, picking, and dispatching cylinders.
- Ensure you and others adhere to safety and environmental rules
- Performing various preventive inspections of process and safety equipment
- Perform general housekeeping
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualification
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- DOT certification or must be obtained within 1 year
- Forklift, overhead crane, and clamp operation experience or ability to become certified within 60 days
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools
- Functional computer skills
- EPA 608 Universal Certificate or must be able to obtain within 6 months
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with compressed gas
- Gas Cylinder experience
Physical Demand Requirements:
- Frequently pushes, pulls, moves, and lifts up to 50 pounds independently
- Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers
- Manipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the day
- Constantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and some exposure to outdoor weather conditions
