Job Title: Packager - 3rd Shift $2.00/hr Shift Differential

SUMMARY:

Packages materials and products manually per customer requirements .

WAGE TYPE: Hourly

FLSA Exemption: Non-exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dut y satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

* Set up job by pulling required materials indicated on Bill Of Materials from the packaging area and having the job inspected prior to beginning work

* Ma ke copies of instr uctions, puts together required hardwar e kits and performs visual insp e ction of parts to ensure adherence to quality standards.

* Perfor ms assembly tasks as required

* P erforms product layout on skin cards

* Acc u rate ly reads blue prints

* Packages products according to customer or Lin coln Industries specifications in a manner which ensure protection of produ cts duri ng shipping and which meets or exceeds production standards

* Ensures tha t all required instructions and warranties are included in packaging

* When running equipment , ch anges parts as needed to en sure proper sealing

* Accu rately labels boxes and skin cards with customer stickers and bar codes

* Bulks packages according to shipping requir ements

* C ompletes all required pap erwork and maintains an accurate count

* En ters move tickets as needed

* Clocks on and off job opera tions and enters quantities produc ed

* Transports packing and other materials as ne cessary

* Maintains work area

* Repo rts all items needing corrective action to supervisor or lead person . Ex: drawin g erro rs, tool problems, equ ip ment problems, production standards, material probl ems, part counts

* Ensures security and prop er use of company equipment , tooling and supplies

* Proper disposal of waste such as rec yclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected.

* Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries ' Beliefs and Drivers

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

* Reports to: Area Lead

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representa tive of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.

Education and/or Experience:

Expected: High School Diploma or Equi valent. Six months related experience or training.

Preferred: One-year experience or related training. Blue print reading

Communication Skills:

* Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.

Other Skills:

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions fu rnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
