Packager - Igus : Job Details

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This position requires the employee to perform efficiently in a warehouse and dispatch environment by handling outgoing deliveries and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Transports product to and from designated areas in the facility -Load outgoing deliveries -Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the facility -Enter outgoing shipments into igus system -Check loads are secure -Obtain and process product orders -Keep files of goods shipped -Using various shipping company computer systems to print appropriate shipping labels for outgoing orders -Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations -Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Manager PHYSICAL DEMANDS: -Manual dexterity and good eyesight are required -Frequently lift up to 30 pounds -Adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time -Having good eye-hand-foot coordination -Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights -Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season REQUIREMENTS:-High school diploma or GED required -Reliable attendance record -Ability to work in a fast paced environment-Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs -Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required -High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment -Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records -Basic Computer Skills -Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner -Maintain a clean & safe environment BENEFITS:
