Packager - UPG Enterprises : Job Details

Maksteel USA powered by UPG is looking for to fill a Packaging position. We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate that is eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced environment. We strive to build strong relationships with our customers by providing high level of service, value-add opportunities, and professionalism in all interactions, allowing us to become a valued member of their supply chain and production teams. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate Banding Head for slit coils
• Ensure secure/proper packaging
• Use equipment safely and efficiently
• Forklift operations
• Clean scrap from aisle way

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of steel banding and shop experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• General reading and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, etc.)
• Experience in steel warehousing and with defects common to steel
• Ability to read and use a measuring tape
• Good organizational skills
