Job Title: Packaging AssociateJob DescriptionIndoor processing and packaging activities may include receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting, labeling, or warehousing material. Outdoor activities may include planting, pollinating, note-taking, data entry, and hand harvesting. The role may also involve preventive maintenance of equipment in assigned areas. R&D positions may include electronic data collection in field and laboratory settings utilizing PC and handheld data collection devices.ResponsibilitiesReceive, scan, clean, treat, sort, count, label, and warehouse seedPlant, pollinate, take notes, enter data, and hand-harvest seedPerform preventive maintenance of equipment in assigned areasCollect electronic data in field and laboratory settings using PC and handheld devicesOrganize, move, and place seed into storageMaintain inventory accuracy using electronic inventory systemsEssential SkillsGeneral labor and production experienceAbility to bend and lift, and sit or stand for long periodsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)Experience with MS Office / Excel and other standard computer and software systemsBasic mechanical ability and understanding of equipment maintenanceWork EnvironmentThe work environment may involve both indoor and outdoor activities, including bending, lifting, sitting, or standing for long periods. Extended hours may be requested during peak seasons. Safety is a priority, with adherence to all site SOPs and safety requirements.
