Job Title: Global Label and Packaging Specialist
Location: Moncks Corner, SC
Duration: 12 months contract
Work Hours: 8 am to 5 pm
Overview:
The Global Label and Packaging Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international product labeling regulations and supporting the shipment of products. This includes overseeing label development for various regions, including collaboration with external suppliers and manufacturers. Non-compliance with labeling can result in significant operational and regulatory consequences, making this role critical to maintaining the smooth flow of product delivery and preventing penalties.
This specialist is expected to be a subject matter expert, ensuring that labeling strategies align with the business and corporate objectives while meeting compliance requirements. Additionally, they provide support across various business segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Drive the development of standardized, sustainable, and cost-effective label and packaging solutions.
Propose label/packaging strategies and advise on major modifications.
Develop and manage a governance process to evaluate label change requests.
Tactical Support (Run-the-Business):
Communicate SAP label changes and share best practices.
Manage and prioritize labeling enhancements in SAP.
Act as the primary business contact for corporate label management IT resources.
Provide support in label template updates and answer format-related questions.
Act as Label Key User for third-party warehouses and understand various printing sites.
Continuous Improvement:
Validate labeling capabilities for customer requests and business changes.
Assist in Artwork and Branding changes across business units.
Participate in testing for label changes and serve as project manager for label development.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
Preferred experience in the chemical industry.
Minimum 5 years of operational experience in an SAP environment (e.g., SAP EHS/GLM+).
Strong written and oral communication skills in local language and English.
Proficiency with Office 365, PowerPoint/Word/Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, PDF Writer, and MS Publisher.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
