(NOTE: drums, pails, jugs, totes are filled by volume, tankers are filled by weight) Packages, shrink-wraps and bands product on skids, attaches labels and shipping paperwork to the packaged product and loads trucks for shipping.Key responsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilities:Fills customer orders as directed by production leadMake sure all orders are filled and the correct packaging and labeling are usedMaintain proper fill weights and/or volumes at all timesMonitors HACCP CCPs (filter checks) and completes documentation completely and accurately.Performs computer tasks by entering production and usage into our SAP system.Recommends packaging equipment upgrades, modifications, and/or replacementsPerforms weekly warehouse product, materials and tank farm physical inventories and assists with inventory reconciliationAssists the Materials Manager in maintaining and adequate supply of shipping, mixing, blending, and packaging materialsMaintains a neat, clean, and organized packaging area by cleaning dailyEnsure that the package and product meet our quality standards at all times and report problems to a supervisor immediatelySupport Regulatory and SQF requirements by maintaining food safety and food quality through GMPs, completing job tasks and maintaining sanitary work areasComplies with all corporate safety and environmental regulations and proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications and skillsQualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.Physical Requirements:Ability kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Abilility to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.PFT & respirator fit test requiredWorking at heights / climbing laddersKerry is an equal opportunity employer.
